How does the church stay looking clean and tidy?

In a church nearly everything that happens gets done by a volunteer and our church totally depends on ours!

The best way to feel part of the church community is to get involved.

There are a number of cleaning teams, on a rota, who keep the church looking good. Cleaning takes place every two weeks and only requires a commitment of four times a year.

More volunteers are always welcomed for this necessary work to keep our church sanctuary looking clean and welcoming.

If you would like to become a “heavenly duster” or an “altar angel” please contact the Parish Secretary with your details and our cleaning leader will get in touch to discuss further.

PRE-CHRISTMAS ‘SPRUCE UP’

This year our dedicated Pre-Christmas ‘Spruce Up’ morning will be on Saturday 9th December, after morning Mass. There are a variety of tasks that need to be taken care of and we hope that both male and female parishioners will be willing to give up a few hours of their time to help us.  A sign-up sheet is available in the church porch for volunteers to sign up or please call or email the parish office. (Even if you can only spare an hour or two, Fathers would really it appreciate!) Tea, coffee and soup and all the cleaning products will be provided.
