Vision Statement

“St Agatha’s Parish is where we pray and work for the Kingdom of God as a welcoming, open and inclusive community.

Our first priority is to preach the Gospel, the Good News of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that we should all share in this task, each according to our God-given gifts and abilities. The Eucharist and the sacraments lie at the core of our worship and our parish life.

We recognise that we are one family bound together in love: there are no strangers in the Church whatever their age, gender, background, achievements or ethnic origin.

We are committed to social action and to care for the disadvantaged both within the parish and in the wider community.”
